Trip to Upstate NY at Easter_27

We took the Amtrak back on Sunday. The train was egregiously late. Because it was so full, it took over an hour at customs at the Canadian Border. The train was packed. A gentleman gave up his seat so that Catherine & I could sit together. It's a 6 hour trip under the best of conditions & it was not the best by a long shot. People were standing in the aisles.
Somewhere between Utica & Albany, we had to stop for 45 minutes, There were cows on the tracks....
The train was supposed to have left Syracuse at 12:30 PM. It didn't leave until almost 2:00 & we didn't get home until almost 10. Tired & hungry, but all in one piece. Mommy vowed, never again!
